WEEKLY FORMAT

  • Nine holes

  • Quota Points (See below)

QUOTA POINT AND REWARD SYSTEM

  • Score cards must be completed as follows:

    1. the last name of each player

    2. the hole score and the number of points earned for the hole. For example: a Bogey on the first hole would be recorded as 5/1. Any score over a Bogey would be recorded as 6+/0, while a Birdie would be recorded as 3/4.

  • A player must record and submit a card for his first two weeks play (9 holes) to establish a quota for the current year.
    Points are awarded as follows:

    Bogey = 1

    Eagle = 6

    Par = 2

    Ace on a Par 3 = 6

    Birdie = 4

    Double Eagle on a Par 4 and Par 5 = 8

  • Quotas are calculated as follows:
    New Player (first and second rounds)
    The total points in both rounds divided by 2 will establish a player’s Point Quota. For example, first round 8 points, second round 6 points, divided by 2 will give the player a Point Quota of 7 to start his third round. He can now start to win Rewards as shown above.
    Players who have established a Quota at the end of the previous year
    The Quota for the previous year plus the points for the first and second rounds are added after each round to establish a new Point Quota. For example, the Point Quota for the previous year is 10 and the first week’s points are 8. These are divided by 2 to determine a first round Point Quota of 9. The same process is used for the second round to give a starting Point Quota for the year.
    All Players
    If an increase of .5 is calculated, it is rounded down. (10 + 13 = 23/2 = 11.5. New Quota Points = 11).
    If a decrease of .5 is calculated, it is rounded up. (10 + 7 = 17/2 = 8.5. New Quota Points = 9).

  • Quotas are decreased and increased according to weekly points achieved until a Reward is earned. Quotas are then frozen for decreases. Increases are still recorded and rewarded as shown above.

  • Rewards can be earned weekly, except for the first two weeks played. You qualify for a Reward by increasing your Point Quota by 2. Increases of 1 are not rewarded.
    A 2 point increase earns a $ 5.00 - chit
    A 3 point increase earns a $10.00 - chit
    A 4 point increase earns a $20.00 - chit
